stack 400+ shadow resistance and damage over time is nothing. maybe u should try stacking shadow resist before saying there is nothing u can do. i stacked 580 shadow resis. i PK warlock, 80% resist fear dot reduced from 600/tik to less than 100. full shadow destruction shadow bolt hits 120 ( crit 500)

Warlocks do have to put many talents into afflication to have curse of pain and such to be instant (and all the others). a damage warlock does not have ANY dot on instant. Also you don't do 2k dmg, that's bullshit -.- curse of pain is rated around 1k... and still: the warlock dies while his damage is made, you will die as well (if the warlock is lucky and you won't get healed) but the worlock dies because he can't kill you fast enough -.-

LOL. ok here's the thing. mage have shatters they can hold ppl. their ice bolt slows ppl and now they have deep freeze stun. if you can't manage to land spell with those then i can't help u. 2nd, DoT dmg is calculated every proc. that means every proc u can resist some dmg. it can not crit and it can be clearse off. the main task for locks is to weaken enemies with DoT and set up the kill with fear.
