this is beautiful... but why do you have to use the description to promote heteronormativity? why can't they be a couple? if it were a man and a woman doing the same exact choreography, wouldn't you interpret them as a splitting couple? And if you say "but they're not queer" (I don't know if they are), can't I say "but the man I just put in is not straight?" Though if you were to say "but they're from Oklahoma" I'd have to say good point.

I totally meant it as a compliment to you "having to dance". George Balanchine was quoted saying "I don't want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance" ...that's what makes the rest of us HAVE to Watch the performers, the dancers that truly HAVE to Dance..love it!

This dance already made me sad! Then mom told me what it was about and now it makes me REALLY sad! Can of reminds me of Alison a bit. Except she'll be back (or you and me will go kidnap her.) But you two did really great with this. It's really really sad. (in a good way. Well not a good way, because being sad isn't fun. But you guys did awesome at making it the right kind of sad)
