This is my horse Alvin! He is the best horse ever! I love him so much! I have only had him since january, and we are already in second for state in my division. He has the biggest heart in the world! He is the best when we jump to! I love you Alvin!

Also the flying change thing he has really good ones when we need ot do one... hehe he has been doing the hunters so long if I put him to the first jump he could probably find his way around.... lol he wouldnt though... to lazy.... hehe so he gets his lead over the jumps a lot....

yay!! ok thanks! I kno the jumps we are jumping are normal size for me but very very little for him.... so he doesn't really care that much what he looks like... lol he still looks great but not as perfect as he look over 3 foot six.... you will have to see him then! It is amazing!

ok i'm juding it out of tenn. Movement-- 10/10 (lovely extention and flat knee) temperment-- 10/10 ( he is very calm but not totaly dead!) form over fences--7/10 (he could tuck his knees up more) changes-- 9/10 ( i never really saw alot of flying changes but he always gets his lead of the jump!) gorguseness-- 9/10 he is gorguse!!!

haha ya he wins most of his under saddles, that trot just blows all the judges away. Just wait till I just higher, everyone who watchs him over 3'6" gets goosebumps, ecpecially my trainer. He is an amazing horse! Thanks! He is such a good boy. I kno it is really hard though to ride 2'3" jumps! I dont even kno we are jumping! because I jump 2'6" 2'9" at home. so I like have a hard time with form over these! haha! Thanks!

Jeez Alvin I didn't know you were a western horse! (that's code for damn he's a beautiful hunter!) He kinda makes me think that he's just like: oh are we gonna trot now? Okay I'll handle this part you just sit up there and look professional. lol. Nice stills over fences. hehe thanks! I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful horse like Alvin, I don't know if I would have a horse today if we hadn't found Alvin we might still be looking. I love him more than any thing in the world, he takes care of my to. hehe he is so funny when my sister got on him he was like wait, this isn't my girl, i am not going to move for you and he just like stood there and gave her the smallest trot. lol I am the only one that can get him to go with out spurs.

Alright, I hope I help a little, I follow a little bit to much, but I cant help that because my horse is a very very nice hunter and jumps hard and round, so most hunter riders land like this, but u should just follow them down, it will also feel smoother to u. Haha thanks! He is a purebred hanoverian imported from Germany. he can jump up to 3ft6in in shows, and like 4ft just like at home for fun. haha ya he was on the more expensive side.... but he is completely worth it! I love him so much!

I kno the pleasure flat is only in like the beginner rider, short stirrup, medium stirrup, and long stirrup classes, all the small jump classes that are eq. and hunters! haha thanks! Alvin was such a good boy! He loves winning his classes! I sit sometimes It helps his if I dont, like I said he is very much a hunter and is used to the totally off his back let him show off type ride. so he thinks when I sit I am nervouse and tends to add alot.

Your other rides are also really nice. I think you know what you need to work on and like you said you're still improving. As always I never mean for my comments to be harsh or rude, and I never said I was an expert it's just my opinion. I'm sure your trainer knows much more than I do about your style and your riding. So I'm just offering advice and you can always choose to accept it or delete it.

I'm getting confused with all your videos because you keep winning lol. Again just more weight in your heels and push them just a little further forward. Alvin's a star again...duh! Your Pleasure Class (although I've never heard of that class) it was a lovely ride. Very well done. Try to sit down in your seat in between the jumps of the six and five stride. Use your legs to push him forward and get the distance. There's nothing wrong w/the ride though it's perfect, I would just stay in my seat.

oh one more thing I fell off the day before at my first show with the head trainer I wasnt with mine I work with the beginner trainer becuase I rode his neck, and she is used to haveing the more advanced girls so she was jumping me higher than my trainer usually does so I was nervouse and I rode his neck and he had to stop, and he stuck his neck down and I slid down the other side of the jump so I had never fallen off at a show, Alvin had never refused a jump with me, and I wasnt with my trainer

And even though I'm critiquing I can see why you won your flat classes. Whenever I saw someone else in your class they looked almost disorganized and very tense. In one shot there is a bay cantering in front of you and (i'm building you up here) you looked waaaayyy better than her. She was very (no offense to her) but yikes. There was maybe one horse who was giving you a run for your money, but your horse really made you look fabulous and that's what won the judges over, so good boy Alvin!

down and try to post more on an angle. I think it was something like 45 degree angle. But that will soften your seat and make you look even more relaxed than you are. Because I really think you look very relaxed yet in control and confident which is very good. Um...I don't see much else just remember to keep your toes turned in and I don't know why but it looks like your feet are too far back on your horse's girth. It could just be me. But I'd try to push my feet a little further forward.

I can tell your horse is a hunter. In the flat division he definitely dominated. I think some of the things that you need to remember are to keep your hands a little higher in the eq. classes. You did really well on the flat in equitation. You need to work on softening your seat while you're posting though. When you sit down it LOOKS like you sit hard, almost like you just plop onto his back. I'm not trying to be mean but that's what it LOOKS like to me. Try to post a little less straight up and

haha ya, I edited the film.... in the blue and white line i though he was going to chip and he dicided to take the correct distance like a good horse! haha and i got left behind and lost my stirrup so he stoped for me to get it! lol so we come around and did the second one! but did u see him see that distance to the pink and white single!! haha right out of the corner! The second round ahd no refusals, so we deserved fourth, we did a ton better in the second one, just a couple adds! hehe!

The first clip of you and Alvin you placed eighth? I think you deserved better than that. It was a very smooth round and it looked like you got your lead changes. The second clip I don't know if I would've given you fourth, I'd have to see the other riders in the class. Just because you chipped a few times. (I know I've had chip rounds too). I think the 2nd in the flat was well deserved. I saw one person who was doing pretty well too. (but again i saw that bay and yikes). Nice work!

Thanks! We did AMAZING the second week, and this week, we did ok. But this week I did high jumps, which unfortunately most of the time reveals new problems!! lol so we were having some difficulties, but in the end it all turned out ok. lol I think I am gunna make the second and third week videos maybe tonight.. haha I didnt geld him, he was supposed to be a grand prix jumper because both his parent were really famous ones, but he ended up being a BEAUTIFUL hunter, they should have bred him for the hunters, but they didnt I don't think I would have him if he wasnt gelded He would probably have a bit of a different temperament, so i am happy! but they should have bred him before they gelded him, just bred him like once or something.

haha thanks so much! I didnt teach him these, i have no idea how they taught him, they just told me when I bought him! I think the owner I bought him from taught him because he is a hanoverian German Import, so I dont think he was taught in Germany, he was in the stallion parade, he was an approved stallion but he is gelded kno. haha!
