i LOVE the sex pistols, but i hated this movie. i hated chloe webb as nancy. she was too skinny for the role and just...wrong. chloe, awful acting and ...i know nancy was annoying, but i swear chole was slightly more. this movie sucked. the lip syncing was dreadful. i hate this movie.

The end is the best part because they dont show the death of sid vicous :the brand new taxi..him playing with childern listening to hip hop and the desert place are a perfect scene and metafor to show that he has died.

Good film. But I didn't appreciated some directions taken by the screenplay, which paint Sid as the cause of the end of the Sex Pistols (actually, Malcolm McLaren's right-about was the main reason), but expecially Jonny Rotten's character. During the American tour, he wasn't like "I don't care less about Sid now, he is a junkie and a burden to me". He was really upset and worried about the self-distruction which was subduiong Sid. He was his buddy, they grew up together.

it wasnt the real ending but if it was a "sad" ending the studio wouldnt have let them make the film so they had to change it. Alex Cox said that he hated it.

Yeah, but you have to think about how much referencing was actually possible to make it as close to a true story as the writer's wanted. There's always room for fabrication, so in this case they took the basis of the relationship and threw in some flashy fights and fucking to fill in the spaces. I'm a Gary Oldman fan, and I think he did an awesome job.

dont really know about "great movie" but the chick who played nancy was fine as hell, minus that mug of hers... PUKE. hella hotter than that disgusting harpy nancy. but lya, movie sucked, far to phony for my tastes. guess it's really just more for "fun", rather than "great".
