Leona is just starting but there's no denying that she is incredible. Mariah has had an amazing career n still going,her material gets better n better. Hopefully,Leona'll in time,with experience,come up with better material later. Both r incredible,few people r as gifted vocally, there's space 4 the both of them surely. Leona's voice is in top condition n her performances r mostly flawless, however, the same couldn't be said 4 Mariah, but she's been singing for decades so it's understandable.

I teach voice. She is NOT lip-syncing. The reason some think she is lip-syncing is because the video and sound (audio) are not synchronized properly The cut-off at the very end was the mic cutting-off that's all. Mics cutting off is pretty common live ...sound engineers listen and very quickly fix the problem (usually anyway).

If Charice Pepper-something is so fantastic, then why isn't she selling millions of records like Leona Lewis? The fact is, Clive Davis loves Leona - Clive, the man who discovered and signed Whitney Houston. People like that don't just sign anyone to their record label, she is fantastic! Yes, Mariah can belt it out amazingly, but she has very little emotion these days, she just moves her hands up and down...whereas Leona feels it, and sings from her soul. I prefer Mariah's voice because her tone is thicker, but until the Phillipines present a singer as good as Leona, I suggest you shut up. UK is taking over the charts now, fact. P.S. what does her face got to do? because leona can't match vocally you have to resort to physical appearance. how low. leona could only dream of reaching the seventh octave the way she dreams of reaching rich, deep low notes. she's all falsetto with that agonizingly slow falsetto. kelly clarkson can belt much fiercer than you're mariah wannabe.

The whistle register doesnt ruin the vocal chords.. Its just that the way the air passes through the throat.. does no damage.. go research!! mariah was born with nodules.. most singers develop them after 20-30 years of singing/ excessive use of the vocall chords.. mariah was, once again,born with vocal nodules... these were the decline of her vocal ability coz the nodules grew as with her sionging

Leona will never have a 5 octave range not even when she reaches 50! I think you are just dreaming. Whether you want to admit it or not Mariah has a wider vocal range than Leona does then and NOW. Even at 36 in this video when her voice ws in decline she sounded better than Leona. If we compare any of Mariah's live performances to Leona's when they were the same age there is no contest. Mariah was a much better singer at leona's age.
